Global Human Resources Manager

  • You enjoy working in a medium-sized international and technical organisation in a very broad HR role.

  • You are responsible for the HR policy for all employees (in total approximately 150 people) mainly working from offices in the Netherlands, Brazil, and USA. From our offices in Doetinchem and Zeddam in the Netherlands, you and an HR Officer will lead and transform the future HR organisation, system, and processes.

  • Your key focus is at strategic and tactical HR level.

Global Human Resources Manager

In this position you are in close contact with international business owners, supporting them with pro-active advice and guidance on all HR-related topics.

You will be part of our (international) Management Team and report to our CEO.

What are your main tasks and responsibilities as
HR Manager?

  • You are the first point of contact and sparring partner for the (Senior) Management on a wide range of HR topics.

  • You contribute to developing, implementing, monitoring and reviewing HR strategies, policies, processes, instruments and systems in all HR domains.

  • You advise the Management Team on the annual compensation reviews and bonuses.

  • You support the global offices (Brazil and USA) and international employees around the world with HR advice and implementing HR policies.

  • As member of the Management Team, you provide the senior management with quality HR data and define the yearly training and education budget.

  • You are responsible for the execution and quality of all day-to-day operational HR processes.

  • You are responsible, with the CEO, for communications and applications for the works council.

  • You communicate all relevant HR-related topics to the organisation through newsletters or by livestream.

What we expect from you?

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or similar in combination with at least 5-10 years of working experience as an HR Manager.

  •  Experience in a similar Human Resources position, preferably in an international technical working environment, such as Research & Development, mechanical engineering, a complex production environment or equivalent, is obviously required.

  • You work in a structured, organised, and accurate way. You have a good sense for innovation and continuous improvements in the HR process.

  • You are a self-starter with a hands-on approach, and you lead by example.

  • You have strong and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in both English and Dutch.

  • You have skills and experience in using HR systems, tools and software.

    Knowledge of Dutch labour law.
